Laura & Gerry's Wedding Day 8/8/18

The day started off a bit drizzly like many Scottish days, but a bit drizzle wasn't going to dampen the special day ahead. We headed to Laura's house to capture some of the bridal preparations with Laura and bridesmaids which was lovely.

After make up, we went round the corner to Laura's parents, the guardians of Laura's beautiful dress by Pronovias from Anne Priscilla Bridal. The cars arrived and off the bridal party went, with lovely flowers from Busy Lizzies in hand.

With not long until the ceremony, the excitement was really starting to build, so we headed to Airdrie Town Hall
where Gerry had just arrived. The hall started to fill with guests, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the bride.

The bridal party arrived and went to the ceremony room as Gerry waited for Laura to walk down the isle. Laura looked stunning, and Gerry was very smart and slightly more relaxed than he was two minutes ago. The ceremony was conducted by our good friend and humanist minister Carnabay from Church Of Carnabay

Once the ceremony was over, everyone moved downstairs to congratulate the bride and groom, so we quickly organised the group shots, then outside with some lighting and camera in hand, for bridal portraits before the rain came back on. It is Scotland after all, it rains most days.
