We woke up early and excited as we always do on the wedding day. The sun was shinning so it was just a lovely day to shoot a wedding. We started of doing bridal prep at Lou and Davids home which was so much fun with their 2 border collie's Dexy and Tilly. Lou loves her dogs so it was very cute watching the dogs starring at their mammy as she got her make up done.

Lou and David never wanted the traditional wedding, so did it how they wanted. They both got ready at home together and David had a grey check suit with a pair of George Cox shoes and Lou wore a white 60s style dress with a white coat. Lou had a badge that said YE Dancin and Davids buttonhole badge said YE ASKIN. The badges were made by Bonnie bling and Daisy Bisley and the buttonhole and flowers were made by the amazing Floral Menagerie.

We then headed to the beautiful Glasgow city centre venue Sloans for the ceremony and reception. The service was by humanest minister from The Church Of Carnaby who we've done with a few weddings along side now. It's always good to see Carnaby, he's always smiling and full of fun.

After the ceremony the wedding party went for drinks which gave us a chance to take some photo's with the bride and groom in and about Sloan's.

Lou gave an informal speech before the meal, then the reception party started with Lou and David being true to their taste and sense of style, danced to a Ska record for their first dance. Then everyone danced the night away to local DJ's who played a mix of Ska, Soul, Northern Soul, Mod, and Indie music. There was also a lovely custom wedding signing book,which was designed by Electric Tattoos

We both had a great day, and would like to wish Lou and David all the best for the future, and to thank them for choosing using Kenichi Images as their wedding photographers.
