We had a great time the other day out shooting with new Glasgow band Cats With Glasses, a 4 piece Indie Punk outfit, that The Skinny called "AN INDIE PUNK POWERHOUSE". You can hear their music at their Band Camp page.
For the shoot we had planned to go to an abandoned railway yard but the band were playing that night so we didn't want to risk being late for the gig and the M8 car park didn't help, so we had to change plans. After a bit of quick thinking we decided to go to an industrial area in the North of the city.
We started off with a few natural light shots using the wall as a background. Then we found a different location and set up 2 Godox ad 200's and shot for about a hour using Canon 5D Mk4, Sigma 24mm-70mm, and Sigma 70mm-200mm. It was a fantastic day and very typically windy for Glasgow, but the band were great to work with and got the job done like true professionals. Here's a few more images from the shoot.
